In the year 2000, the US Navy Submarine Force will celebrate its 100 year anniversary. The following pages are intended to show what came before the Triton, and what has come after. | |

not my intention to go into great detail for any of the classes of
Submarines appearing on these pages. I propose only to give a little
background information and a few photographs, where possible, of each
class. There are many internet sites dedicated to the individual boats
mentioned here, and a link page can be found at
Submarine World Network, for most of them.
